Yep, that's right. My mom thinks I'm creative, but I warn all potential readers right now. I don't promise any entertaining storytelling or anecdotes, or other schlack-a-schlack (a Sarah word creation) of the sort! For example, I have forgotten my camera on every outing we have taken since we moved to Connecticut, and when I finally decided to take a photo here at the house, the battery was dead. How's that for lame! Hence, I have no fun photos to post. However, if this proves to be something that anyone reads and shows any interest in, I may just get better about taking photos and figuring out how to get them on here.
Since the majority of my time is spent with Sarah, I really must write about her. She is getting so big and is talking really well. She is really into fairy tales and hearing stories told (not read) to her. The other day I asked her if she wanted me to tell her the story of the three pigs, and she said, "yes" then proceeded to say, "Once upon a time there was a pig who sat on a tree stump, and she lived in a castle. The End." I must admit her version was much better than mine. Anyhoo . . . sometimes she is super cute, and other times, not so much. Like, this morning she was unhappy about something I was doing, and she said, "mommy you are not my friend." I, of course had to be rational and not be offended, so I just said, "that's okay, I don't need to be your friend, but I'll always be your mommy and I'll always love you."
Okay, I'm done. My brain is dead, and I have nothing more to say. Sooooooooo . . . mom, this one's for you!

HEY!! i am so glad you're an official blogger. I'm crap because I havent emailed you back because I am way too jealous of your house!! makes it hard to be friends. =) Sarah's a cutie and I am glad you are enjoying the beauty of the east. It is still flat and dry out here. Tell Tim Luke got a molar but still 3 missing laterals. AHHHH!!
I read it, and I am so glad you got a blog! We really miss Sarah, and I especially miss her little voice, I could just picture how cute her version of little pigs sounded.
Give it some time, you will make friends in Conn soon. Maybe just not as cool as us. . .
And get takin' pictures. Have you already gone to Italy?
So, I don't know how official I am, because I figured no one would have read it yet, and I suddenly had some "inspiration" on how to make my first blog better, and I edited my post - I know, Brooke, you think that's lame, but "it is done, and it was done for the best." BTY we went to Italy almost two months ago - about a week after I left Pgh. It was great! Thanks for reading my blog. At least I have long distance friends.
okay- you have go to post pics from your italy trip. I find it is easiest to add all my pictures first and then type in text later. am i lame for reading your blog twice. I was like "wait this is a new one....no it's the same...huh??? so I see, you edited it =) I promise to read you blog regularly so post away!!
Darn. I missed the unedited version. :) I am sooooo happy to see you are blogging!!!! Welcome. The other day when we played phone tag, before I called you, Jackson said, "Mommy. Can Sarah come over today and play? I miss her." How cute is that!? He said all that on his own. And then I decided to call you! Because I miss you too. :) Send pics soon. OF EVERYTHING!
Oh, i so caught the P&P quote! I did the same thing as rachel thinking it was a new post- well done.
