April...

April was full and busy for us. Early in the month, Sarah decided she wanted to donate her hair to 'Pantene Great Lengths', so we cut off eight inches and mailed it off. Tim and I spent a week in Mexico (see previous post) and then, Sarah had a week off school for Spring Break. We made a little trip to the aquarium, and also spent some time at a local park with some friends. We had a wonderful Easter together and even found a really cool tutorial to make 'silk dyed eggs' on my new favorite website: OurBestBites.com. I decided to do 'blown eggs' since I couldn't trust that the dye from the silk would be food safe, and then I even found a recipe to use up all the eggs (also on 'Our Best Bites'). The weather has suddenly turned warm and Springlike, so we have spent many wonderful hours enjoying the outdoors. We are finishing off the month by celebrating Claudia's 1st Birthday, and I will post pictures from that soon. Wishing you all a 'Happy Spring'!
