Our Summer so far...

We started our Summer with a fun trip to visit friends in Arizona. We spent two days in a hotel in Phoenix that also had a waterpark attached, and then spent three more days in Buckeye with friends. We had a wonderful time! After our visit, Tim headed back here to CT and the girls and I headed to Utah so Sarah and I could go to the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City with my mom, sister, sister-in-law, two nieces, and a few friends. Claudia got to spend three fun-filled days with Grandpa in Salt Lake City. Rumor has it she had Grandpa wrapped around her little finger!

The day after we got home, my brother and his family came to our house for a three day visit. We spent some time at the beach, with huge waves (Tim learned the hard way, that the waves were too big to take little ones out boogie boarding - he ended up with a broken nose and profuse amounts of blood, after a huge wave tumbled him and William), took a tour of the Nautilus, ate some yummy food, and spent some time on the Cliff Walk in Newport, RI. It was so fun to have them come and visit!

While the girls and I were in Utah, Tim started work on the long awaited treehouse in the backyard. Since we have been home, Sarah has spent hours up there with him - 'helping' him build it.

Last week we went to the zoo with our Camp Liberty friends, and had a wonderful time! So, our Summer is shaping up to be a busy one - I'm sure we'll have more to post before it is over.
