What is his name? Tim
How long did you date? 1 year.
How long have you been married? 10 years in May! (My grandmother would say, "Ten years with that woman there? No wonder he hasn't any hair!") She was always quoting some thing or other, and we love to keep her memory alive by passing on the quote tradition!
Who eats more sweets? That's a tough one! Probably me, but don't tell anyone, I usually sneak them when no one else is looking - no wonder I can't lose weight!
Who said I love you first? That would be ME! He looked at me and said, "That's nice." (Another family joke - My mom said that to my dad the first time he told her he loved her - Ah tradition!)
Who is taller? Tim - by like 10 inches!
Who is the better singer? I enjoy it more, but we can both hold our own. You won't see us on American Idol anytime soon, though - that's just child's play to us;).
Who is smarter? Definitely Tim! Especially now that I am a mother - I don't know what happened to all my brain cells after Sarah came along, but I feel like I just get dumber every day! Huh?!
Who does the laundry? Mostly me.
Who pays the bills? Mostly me, but he makes all the money so that I can.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does.
Who mows the lawn? He does.
Who cooks dinner? Me. Except when we are grilling, then he cooks the meat, and I take care of everything else.
Who drives? Mostly him.
Who is more stubborn? I am, No He is! (Wait, I am!) Yeah, it's kinda like that! Depends on the day.
Who kissed who first? He kissed me first, but I had to practically beg him to do it! I think he got a kick out of torturing me with the anticipation!
Who asked who out? Technically, I asked him out (but, in my defense I used the ruse of needing help studying for an upcoming exam - so it wasn't a DATE date, just a STUDY date:)). The date that I consider to be our first REAL date . . . he asked me out.
Who proposed? He did - knee down in the snow while we were snowshoeing in Provo canyon.
Who is more sensitive? - Oh, ME! And not always in a good way!
Who has more siblings? I do (Me - 5, Tim - 3)
Who wears the pants? Tim does, I am a skirt kind of a gal lately:).
And, now . . . I tag Melanie, Rachel, and Flori.

you're the only one who got the bathing suit joke. We saw a super skimpy thong swimsuit while we were there and she said "I already have that in clear" we couldn't stop laughing. so of course we had to have a picture when we saw the matching shoes haha!! I put that on there cause I knew Dan's sisters who read my blog would appreciate it. Also, give Tim a smack for saying "that's nice" when you told him you love him. I may or may not do the "tag" I never do them because they take so much time and thought. I could be done by now I bet since I have been writing this comment for an hour or so.
Ah, the old, lets get together to study rouse. Works every time!
So many updates!!!! I love it. That was fun reading about you and Tim. You were cracking me up.
"That's nice"!!! I can't believe it. I like the strong woman in you who isn't afraid to go after something she wants.
So I have to admit...I laughed out loud on some of your responses. I remember some of those things so clearly now that I've been reminded. Where would the 2 of us be now if we hadn't taken the bull by the horns?
Tim sounds like a tease! Making you beg for a kiss shame on him. I was very impatient with that one because I thought Rhett was adorable so on our second date I cornered him on my porch and smooched him. Oh the memories:)Thanks for sharing yours.
so fun to read about you guys. Hope you are enjoying it there in Connecticut. That's where you are right? Good job on your answers. :-)
I had a similar experience when the "i love you" phrase was first uttered in Zach and I's relationship. You can get the full story when I post this tag. I did it a month ago, put just got internet access back today, so you'll be seeing it shortly!
Tim looks like he's holding a 40 ounce beer in that picture:0 Hahahah! You guy's are a very handsome couple.
