Some Pre-Christmas Fun...Or, in other words, Just some Randomness...

Here are a few of the things we have been up to since Thanksgiving...

I finished another re-upholstery project.
Before...

...and after.

Sarah had a little chat with Santa...
We also tried curlers for the first time...

...boy did they work!!!!
We helped at our Ward's 3rd annual Christmas Choir and Creche Exhibit...Sarah and I both sang with some small groups, and we helped decorate a Christmas Tree commemorating our special Summer Camp we participated in this past summer. The name of our camp was "Camp Liberty". The kids memorized the camp scripture: 'Wherefore this land is consecrated unto Him, whom He shall bring. And if it so be that they shall serve Him according to His commandments, which He hath given, it shall be a land of LIBERTY unto them.' 2 Nephi 1:7

Our tree was decorated with a banner bearing the scripture, as well as ornaments with a photo of each child from one of the first days of camp where they learned about the Statue of Liberty, and had the opportunity to dress up as her. All of the ornaments, and the banner were made by my friend, Elise, who put so much wonderful work into the whole project. Oh, and the tree topper was a torch, that had been the camp craft from the Statue of Liberty day.

Sarah with her new Nutcracker friend...
We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!!!!!

Did you take that new picture at the top of your blog with the flower encased in ice? That is amazing! I noticed Sarah's curly hair when I saw her - Saturday and Sunday right? It was VERY CUTE!!
