A few weeks ago, we took a little trip down south to El Salvador. What? El Salvador you say? Well, you may wonder why on earth we would ever choose to visit El Salvador, and you would be right to do so. If you had asked us a year ago to give you a list of places in the world we would like to visit, El Salvador would not have been on it. But, life has a way of being unexpected, and just under a year ago, Tim's parents were called to serve a mission in the San Salvador temple, and so we had a reason to visit... and we did.
We had a great time, spending a few days in San Salvador followed by several days on the beach near La Liberdad. It was warm and sunny and it was so fun for the girls to spend some time with their Grandparents. The Mission President was very generous and gave Tim's folks the whole week off, so we got them to ourselves the whole trip!

I am so glad you finally posted your pictures! I loved them. What an awesome trip. You should enlarge the one of the four of you walking hand-in-hand on the beach and hang it on your wall. I'll bet Tim's parents were so excited that you visited them!!! Love you.
Well, if you are going to visit El Salvador, this would be the way to do it. It really looks beautiful there. I have never seen such dark sand beaches. What a great way to break up the winter.
Finally got a chance to see your El Salvador pics - some amazing shots in there and talk about some wonderful scenery! Glad you had such a good time.
