We started our Mexico vacation with a very special event: The Naming and Blessing of my niece...
| Beautiful Baby Myrna |
| Look at all those worthy priesthood holders! |
| The new parents |
| The whole crowd - including my Aunt and Uncle, my cousin, her husband and their two kids -they just happened to be at the same resort during the same week as us. What a pleasant surprise. |
| Waiting for the big event |
| Playing games at the villa. |
| Me and my sister Kristin |
| Dinner at our favorite restaurant - La Placita. Tim is vehemently opposed to the photo lean in.... |
| ... except, apparently, when he is with Tom. :) |
| Me with my cute mom. |
| At our new favorite restaurant - Tacun. |
A few of us took the kayaks out despite rough seas and a wicked headwind... until we finally made it to the calm waters inside the mangroves... Is it possible that the winds could have changed direction during the 20 minutes we were in the mangroves? It sure felt like we were battling the same headwind on our way back to the dock.
| Tim tried his hand at gondolier-ing. |
Of course, we put in our fair share of hours at the beach...
| It wasn't always as warm as it looked. |
| Smiles! |
| I loved holding that baby!!!! |
| One evening, all the men showed up wearing similar tropical patterned vacation shirts... |
| Evan didn't get the memo, but he did get to wear that darling baby all night. |
We had one day full of rain, so we took advantage of the less than perfect forecast and headed to XPLOR - an adventure park full of "100% safe" zip lines, "amphibious" vehicles, and underwater caverns...
| Rafting in the caverns. |
| A break for lunch. |
| Ben and Nicole |
| Swimming in the caverns. |
The ZIP Lines...
| See that tiny dot up there in the air? That is my mom! |

| Ever wondered what genuine fear looks like? |
| Kristin |
| Tyler and Jamie |
| Tom and Kristin |
| Mom |
| Dad |
The 'Amphibious' vehicles...
Tim, Tom, Nicole, Geoff and Ben spent a morning diving in Cenote Taj Mahal...
| Outside the new Mayan Museum |
