I know it has been a while since my last post, but I do have a list of excuses, not least of which are a dead hard drive in my computer, and a family vacation (pictures posted later). But, I am back now with some pictures to prove it. So, let's catch up...
At the beginning of March, Sarah was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was a wonderful day made even more special by the presence of Grandmom and Grandpa and our dear friend Katie. Here are some photos:
After the meeting we changed our clothes and headed over to our favorite pizza joint - Pepe's. Pepe's is located in one of our local Indian casinos, and after lunch we walked upstairs to check out an interesting display about the history of the tribe.
On Monday morning, before taking Katie back to the airport, Sarah and Katie spent an hour or so swimming in the hotel pool before eating a delicious breakfast of blueberry pancakes at another of our favorite restaurants. It was a wonderful weekend!
Here is Sarah in her improvised cat costume she made one day after school...
... and here she is dressed as 'an artist' for her homemade art show (those are my boots).
Easter came this month with the traditional dying of the eggs...
... followed by an attempt to take a good family photo - we took one with silly faces...
... and then told everyone to smile nicely for the camera...
... and finally success (we have about five more with varying facial expressions).
I'll post some photos from our trip when I have another moment. In the meantime, I hope you all have a wonderful Spring!
