Tim recently discovered a new rock band that he likes called 'Cage the Elephant'. So, the two of us left the kids in the capable hands of my good friend Bethany and headed to New York City last week to see them in concert. We left home around 4:30 pm, made it to Manhattan by 7:30, ate a delicious dinner at a little Peruvian restaurant we found, enjoyed the concert (three bands total) and made it back home by 2:30 am. It was a fun evening. Next month I get to take Bethany's kids while she and her hubby go into the city to see one of their favorite rock bands. Reciprocation is awesome!
