So, here I am in my living room watching my daughter watch my husband play on his new Nintendo Wii (his birthday present). And I am here because the Art class I signed up for through community education was cancelled due to lack of interest - bummer! I was so looking forward to one night a week just for me, to do something I am interested in, all alone - but, alas.
I just got released from my Primary calling (Valiant Girls Teacher) after a mere two months, and am now the Relief Society Pres . . . no, just kidding. I am the Relief Society Secretary. The President is my friend who moved to the area about a month ago from Seattle. Poor girl.
Sarah's phrase of the week is, "must be". Like, "my milk must be outside," and "daddy must be upstairs". She picks a phrase and uses it over and over again for a week or so and then moves on to another one. The other day she looked at me and said "Don't even think about it." Do you think I say that to her ever?

That is so funny. Sarah is hilarious. And being the secretary is in so many ways just as hard as the president. IF you do your calling. So I guess I don't know what I am talking about. :)
I am also the secretary. It is a pretty busy calling. i have meetings all the time and a lot of things to have ready for sundays. For me, it has been a blessing. It makes me feel like I have to be at all the activities and has helped me to get to know people. good luck. Im sure you'll do great. Bummer about your art class!
You will do great as the secretary! Too bad for the other new girl that got put in as RSP that fast!!
Sarah must be a cutie!
