Patience really is a virtue!

So, I just got home after giving my statement to the police officer, and I thought I'd better write down my experience for posterity. Sarah and I spent a nice afternoon at the shore, taking a long walk and having lunch on the bluff (I'll post photos later) and we were on our way home when I got stuck behind this horribly slow driver in an old blue pick-up truck. The speed limit on the road was 45 and she was only driving 40 (sometimes 35) so I was pretty annoyed. I had a small chance to pass her and I almost took it, but the oncoming traffic looked too close, so I just stayed in my spot behind the truck. Well, not even five minutes later, I watched that truck PLOW and I mean PLOW (I don't even remember seeing brake lights) into the car in front of it when that car slowed down behind someone making a left hand turn. Since I was a witness, I pulled over to give my statement to the officer (and make sure people were alright). It wasn't until I got home that I realised that it could have been me in front of that pick-up at that left hand turn. Thankfully, my impatience didn't win out this time, and I got to be a witness from behind instead of the victim in front.

Holy cow!! Stupid old farty fart driver. It is so annoying when people drive so slow. Lucky you for the oncoming traffic. That would have made for a terrible post. I am glad you are ok.

I am assuming it is a man because that was way too stupid to have been a woman. glad you're fine and all is well. I envy your afternoons at the bluff. i dont even know what that is but i desperately want to be there!
