I just had to post these pics that my mom just e-mailed to me, because I want you all to see how totally cool my parents are! My dad is a retired Air Force fighter pilot, and this year for Valentine's Day he gave my mom a ride in a T-33 jet trainer (dad was not the pilot for this flight) . . .

And just to prove that my dad is just as cool as my mom, here is a video of him trying his hand at bullriding last November - I think he is a little crazy, but SO cool!

looks like he injured the family jewels on that one. How cool that your mom got to go in the jet. you know I'd never do it but it looks like she liked it.
Aaaahhh...your parents are so, so wonderful. I have such great memories of them. I have never felt more welcome in someone's home. To this day, when I think of the kind of person/hostess/mom I would like to be, I think of Myrna.
That is so brave of your parents. I am a serious scardy cat with things like that. Especially the bullriding.
That's awesome! I like their style. Except I would never ever try bullriding! I do want to ride a mechanical bull one day though! That's close enough for me!
