I am SO ready for Spring!

So, it is March.  In my mind, March means Spring is on the way, in fact just last week we were walking around in the almost 50 degree weather making plans for our garden and yard, and then . . . a Nor'Easter blew into New England and dumped about nine inches of snow on us last night.  So we spent several hours this morning shoveling the driveway (Tim cancelled all his patients for the day, because he has noticed in the past that whenever there is any snow, most of his patients don't show up anyway). . .

In the above photo, you can see how deep the snow is compared to Sarah's leg - it comes up to her knee.
. . . then, after we were done shoveling, another storm blew in and dropped another two inches on us.  It has finally stopped snowing now, hopefully for good.

The snow on our back deck.

YUCK. but pretty too and fun in a way. I love that Sarah looks like she's having fun no matter what she's doing. Never grumping about the cold. just smiling and loving it. She's awesome.

I am getting some serious cabin fever! I'm sick of the snow! Sarah is so cute! Matthew always loves talking about Sarah and coming to see her!

I guess it's better to have snow than to have a drought. I hope it's DONE!

My kids wore shorts for three days last week. Then it got really cold here to ... yup, down to 50 degrees ;-) Maybe you need to visit Dallas again!!! We'd love it! Love all the pictures, Sarah looks like she had a Fabulous Birthday!

That storm missed us, thank goodness! But it was freezing like 10 degrees and windy for a while. I think it's warming up though! So who has worse winters? Pittsburgh or Connecticut?
